Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 11, 2026
GenieStep (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates geniestep.com. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit our website or contact us, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using our website, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information We Collect
When you submit our contact form, we collect the information you provide: your name, email address, phone number (optional), and your group type (School, Teacher, or Organization).
When you browse our website, we automatically collect standard analytics data through Google Analytics, including pages visited, approximate location (city/country level), device and browser type, and how you arrived at our site. This data is aggregated and does not personally identify you.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the contact details you provide solely to respond to your enquiry — one of our consultants will reach out to discuss how GenieStep can help your school, classroom, or organization.
We use analytics data to understand how visitors use our website so we can improve content, performance, and user experience.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.
3. Where Your Data Is Stored
Contact form submissions are stored securely in Google Workspace (Google Sheets) accessible only to authorized GenieStep team members.
Analytics data is processed by Google Analytics in accordance with Google's privacy policy.
4. Cookies
We use cookies set by Google Analytics to measure website traffic. These cookies do not store personally identifiable information. You can disable cookies in your browser settings at any time without affecting your ability to use our site.
5. Third-Party Services
We rely on the following third-party services to operate this website: Vercel (hosting), Google Analytics (traffic measurement), and Google Workspace (form submission storage). Each processes data under its own privacy policy.
Our website contains links to our social media profiles (Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those platforms.
6. Data Retention
We retain contact form submissions for as long as needed to respond to your enquiry and maintain our business relationship. You may request deletion of your data at any time (see Section 7).
7. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of the personal information we hold about you. You may also withdraw consent for us to contact you at any time.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@geniestep.com and we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
8. Children's Privacy
Our website and contact form are intended for educators, schools, and organizations — not for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page with the effective date below.
